A practical starting point for splitting a Pakistani wedding budget across venue, catering, decor, photography, beauty and entertainment.
Venue and catering are usually the two largest lines in a Pakistani wedding budget, since both scale directly with guest count — in Jashn's own worked example on the budget calculator, they come to just over half the total. Decor, photography and video, bridal beauty and outfits, entertainment and planning make up the rest.
Rather than memorising percentages, use the calculator's line items as your starting point — it breaks a real worked example into these same categories so you can see an actual split before you collect vendor quotes.
Since catering and often venue pricing scale per head, your guest count moves the total budget more directly than negotiating any single vendor's rate. Lock in a realistic guest count range early, and keep a buffer for last-minute additions — the calculator includes one by default.
