Invitation tools roadmap
A lightweight evaluation of invitation/card features for Jashn. This is intentionally marked as a later feature so the marketplace, vendor search and bookings stay the priority.
Later feature
Recommendation: do not build a full card editor yet
WedMeGood has invitation tools, but for Jashn the stronger MVP path is marketplace traffic, vendor profiles, comparison, booking requests, reviews and concierge. Invitation tools should come after we have enough users and vendors to cross-sell cards, RSVPs and event pages.
Phase 1: enquiry-ready invitation templates
Start with simple save-the-date and wedding-card landing templates that collect RSVPs or vendor enquiries instead of building a full design editor immediately.
Phase 2: WhatsApp share cards
Generate mobile-friendly invitation images and links that families can share on WhatsApp with event timing, venue map and RSVP instructions.
Phase 3: paid premium designs
Only after marketplace traction, add paid premium card packs, video invitations and designer/vendor upsells.
What to build first when we return to this
- • Save-the-date page template with couple names, city, venue and date.
- • RSVP form connected to the customer dashboard guest list.
- • WhatsApp-friendly share preview and copy button.
- • Optional vendor upsell: photography, decor and venue links on the invite page.
